• People's rights to feed themselves, which includes access to natural resources and the maintenance of rural land, the development of cultural and sustainable livestock methods and Fairtrade
  
• Respect for the dignity of small-scale farmers by making their rights and social roles recognised, structuring producers associations and facilitatiting their participation in discussions of rural politics on a local and global scale. Also Agronomes et Vétérinaires sans frontières helps to raise awareness in the countries of the projects and in Europe.
